Close to relaxing walks in beautiful surroundings and activities for everyone. Haven describes this site as:

'Near the one and only Lake District in Cumbria, our caravan holidays at Lakeland Leisure Park have everything you've come to expect from a quality Haven break. An indoor and outdoor swimming pool, plus our very own water sports centre for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and pedalos. There's also a modern Marina Lounge entertainment venue. If you decide to spend time away from the park, head for the stunning lakes and peaks of the Lake District National Park.'

Point of interest - Lakeland was used as an airfield in World War Two.

Enjoy your stay and please remember to give us any feedback including great tips we can share.

Mr White commented on a Face Book post Oct 22:  'I’d highly recommend the lodge in the Lakes, stayed in the summer and it was amazing. Even if you’re not a fan of Haven, it’s still a great “base” for the Lakes and those lovely walks.'
