What does the scheme offer me?

All serving members of the AGC who contribute to the AGC Association One Day's Pay Scheme are eligible to apply for financial assistance via a Fraternal Grant to help with their personal contributions towards the cost of fraternal activity such as: team building exercises, social gatherings, and other events that engender team spirit and foster esprit de corps.

With such a diverse range of fraternal activities, it is difficult to support all of them and this includes centrally funded activities such as Corps Sport, the Triple Crown Challenge, exercises White and Golden Lion which are not be eligible for funding through this scheme.

Please feel free to contact the Corps HQ staff to clarify activity funding before you make an application and you will then be directed to how to make an application.

If you are successful in securing funds, you will be required to provide an article with suitable  pictures (separate from the write up) and within a week of the event which will be uploaded to the digital Journal. This will be used to promote the scheme, as well as help to increase membership awareness.

Financial assistance may be given for one of the following circumstances: disability adaptation, mobility equipment, priority debts, food vouchers, clothing and household whitegoods.

We are here to help and can speak to other charities and associations to ensure the best care is provided for your situation
