His Majesty has been pleased to announce from today Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Gloucester will adopt Colonel-in-Chief Adjutant General’s Corps from The late Queen.

Her Royal Highness has been Deputy Colonel-in-Chief for the past 31 years and during that time has been such a great supporter of the Corps.

Kensington Palace has sent a message that The Duchess is touched and honoured to be appointed Colonel-in-Chief of the Adjutant General’s Corps and is grateful for the continued support from the Corps.

Colonel Commandant Adjutant General’s Corps will be writing to Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Gloucester following this deserving and truly popular appointment.
